Responsibilities

• Perform nursing functions and consumer care at a Therapeutic Facility Based Crisis Center, including assessment, care, and treatment of consumers.
• Adhere to standards of care as defined by the Nurse Practice Act and RHA.
• Utilize knowledge, experience, and judgment with limited supervision to provide quality services.
• Respond to crises timely in a therapeutic setting.
• Monitor consumers, manage medication side effects, and perform QA activities.
• Communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and provide training as needed.
• Maintain on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school with at least an Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Meet education, experience, licensure/certification requirements.
• Preferably one year of nursing experience, especially with consumers with intellectual disabilities or mental health needs.
• Valid driver’s license, personal vehicle insurance, and ability to maintain required training and certifications.

Pre-employment Requirements

• Criminal background check, registry checks, drug testing, education verification, and credentialing.
• Proof of driver’s license, insurance, and vehicle if transportation is required.
