Job summary

Friendship Village Retirement Community in Waterloo, IA, seeks an Registered Nurse to provide complex care and care planning for Assisted Living residents. You will help establish a collaborative culture among nurses, aides, and other staff to deliver high-quality, person-centered care in a safe, caring environment.

The role offers full- or part-time hours with 2nd shift (12pm-8pm) and requires lifting up to 50 lbs. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k, PTO and more.

Registered Nurse - Assisted Living

Friendship Village Retirement Community is seeking a dependable and compassionate nurse to work with our Assisted Living residents. As a Registered Nurse you will handle the complex care and care planning for residents in a safe, comfortable, and caring environment. You play an instrumental role in setting the culture for nurses, resident aides, and other staff in providing high quality person centered care.

• Starting pay for RN $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
• Shift differential pay - $2/hr for 2nd shift and $3 for third shift

Hours:

• Full time or part time, 2nd shift 12pm to 8pm
• Work every other weekend and holidays

Qualifications:

• Valid license as Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Applicants are required to pass pre-employment screenings that could include: Criminal background checks, Abuse registry check, Drug test, Physical, and TB test.
