Patient First is seeking an RN to deliver ambulatory nursing care and support patients and families in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include medication administration, patient screening, and assisting physicians during emergencies while maintaining a professional team atmosphere. The role requires MD licensure in Maryland and strong communication skills.

Formación

• Must be Maryland-licensed as a nurse.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Keyboarding and clerical experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• One year of clerical experience preferred.
• One year of clinical experience with administration of medications preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care in ambulatory setting to patients and families.
• Administer medications; know dosages, actions, and side effects.
• Assist physician in all emergency cases.
• Offer warm, friendly customer service in all interactions.
• Use sound judgment in medical care and patient screening.
• Provide care with a team-focused, professional atmosphere.
• Follow Patient First policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Responsibilities

• Implementing Patient First’s policies and procedures;
• Offering quality nursing care and generating a genuinely warm and friendly atmosphere for patients and employees;
• Providing nursing care in the ambulatory setting to individual patients and families;
• Using sound judgment when administering medical care and screening patients;
• Administering medications and knowing correct dosage, actions, and side effects of each medication administered;
• Assisting the physician in all emergency cases;
• Providing positive, warm and friendly customer service in all interactions;
• Fostering teamwork and a positive, professional atmosphere;
• Completing other duties as directed.

Minimum education and professional requirements

• Employee must be at least 18 years of age;
• High school graduate or equivalent;
• Keyboarding experience required;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• One year of clerical experience preferred;
• One year of clinical experience with administration of medications preferred;
• Licensed to practice as a Nurse in the state of Maryland.

Salary Range: $34.50 - $40.50, depending on experience.
