Job summary

State of Maryland is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse to serve in a hospital community role, ensuring continuity of care and patient safety coordination. The position emphasizes supervision, delegation, and administrative duties at a systems level within the Eastern Shore Hospital Center.

Qualified candidates will have RN licensure in Maryland, at least three years of RN experience (including a supervisory/administrative or teaching role) and two years in a psychiatric setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Registered Nurse licensure required by the Maryland State Board of Nursing.
• Three years of RN experience, including one year supervisory/administrative or teaching, and two years in a psychiatric setting.
• Substitutions: Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Nursing/related field may substitute for psychiatric experience; military nursing experience may substitute year-for-year.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative oversight and direct labor for risk prevention and patient safety coordination.
• Supervise, delegate, and assign tasks to staff while ensuring continuity of care and quality.
