Job summary

Requires an RN license and two years hospital RN experience. Post-hire certification in Professional Healthcare Risk Management or Patient Safety within 18 months.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years RN experience in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records to support legal and risk analyses.
• Conduct legal research and identify issues to guide risk strategies.
• Guide providers on patient disclosure and support early resolution of errors.
• Participate in system-wide risk measurement initiatives and report on indicators.
• Review clinical practices for quality improvement and loss prevention.
• Ensure compliance with current standards across hospitals and clinics.
