Job summary

Indiana University Health is seeking experienced nurses and recent RN graduates to join our team across Indiana. The Clinical Nurse – Resource role floats to multiple inpatient units, providing evidence-based care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

This position is part of the West Region ED Float Pool, full-time night shift, floating to Arnett, Frankfort, White, and Tipton hospitals.

Qualifications

• Requires ASN; BSN preferred, BSN required for new hires/promotions after Oct 1, 2025.
• Active RN license in Indiana or compact residency (NLC).
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Two years of acute care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required before orientation; other ALS may be required per unit policies.

Responsibilities

• Float across IU Health facilities to cover diverse inpatient units.
• Provide competent, evidence-based nursing care across assessment to evaluation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance care plans and outcomes.
• Demonstrate adaptability and system-wide flexibility in staffing and coverage.
