Hours: Approximately 20 per week

Location: Residential Homes in Bergen County, NJ

Job Summary:
As a Residential Nurse, you will conduct comprehensive, face-to-face nursing assessments and services for clients in mental health group homes, from level B to A+ care. Your responsibilities include implementing and monitoring health interventions, assessing physical and mental health, creating treatment plans, and supporting clients in maintaining or improving their functioning. You will collaborate with prescribers, APNs, and mental health workers to promote client wellness.

What You Will Do:

• Develop psychosocial and personal care treatment plans with clear goals, measurable objectives, and realistic timelines
• Problem-solve treatment and support strategies for individuals and families
• Document assessments, treatment plans, progress, and discharge summaries accurately and timely
• Complete health, pain, and nutrition screens for clients
• Assist clients with medical needs
• Safely operate agency vehicles for client transportation to medical appointments

What We Need to See:

• RN Degree from an accredited nursing school
• Valid RN License
• At least 1 year of experience working with psychiatric populations and knowledge of Universal Precautions
• Valid driver's license insurable by the agency
