Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• RN license required, and Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• American Heart Association – Basic Life Support Certificate.
• Basic familiarity with computers.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients and makes nursing judgments.
• Coordinates the care of patients and directs assistive personnel to provide safe, effective, efficient, patient-centered care.
• Develops collegial relationships with health professionals and communicates with patients and families.
• Maintains annual mandatory education requirements, including emergency skills and unit-based competencies.
• Demonstrates commitment to patients, staff, and the medical center and maintains patient safety.
