Job summary

This full-time role supports adult psychiatric patients within a structured residency program, offering a strong foundation for new graduates and opportunities to grow under RN supervision.

Shift options include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with 3-day or 5-shift schedules.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized nursing program with clinical experience in medical, surgical, obstetrics, pediatrics and psychiatric nursing.
• Current license as a Temporary Nurse or as a Registered Nurse in New Hampshire.

Responsibilities

• Functions as Nurse-in-Charge in the absence of the Nurse Specialist.
• Provide direct nursing care through Nursing Process to patient care management.
• Collect patient data by interview and observations for nursing assessment.
• Complete nursing assessments to support treatment planning and discharge readiness.
• Administer medications and treatments according to standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to plan discharge.
• Educate patient/family about routines, interventions and health care needs.
