Summary

We are currently seeking a Nurse Resident RN I for our 4 South Unit, a 24-bed environment caring for Hematology and Medical Oncology patients. Our nursing staff provides knowledgeable and skilled care within a multidisciplinary team. RNs are trained to care for patients on telemetry, receiving chemotherapy, and participating in Clinical Trials. We support our staff with ongoing Radiation safety and chemotherapy competency education, along with quarterly workshops.

• The Registered Nurse provides personalized, high-quality nursing care to cancer patients and their families, following hospital guidelines, nursing standards, and ethical codes.
• Registered Nurses embody the mission and philosophy of Moffitt Nursing, committed to patient-centered care based on Duffy's quality caring model, emphasizing collaboration, dignity, reassurance, and holistic care.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan and deliver effective patient care, addressing biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, educational, and discharge needs with timely and appropriate documentation.

Qualifications
