Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Nurse Resident in Englewood, CO, to join a structured program for new graduate Registered Nurses. You will develop essential nursing knowledge and skills while transitioning to direct clinical care and applying education in a supportive setting.

Daily focus includes patient safety, clinical performance improvement, and leadership. You will engage in continuous learning, teamwork, and ownership of your professional development to contribute to service excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• 0 to 12 months of RN professional nursing experience.
• Active RN license in the state where practicing or state of primary residency if a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• BLS certification - American Heart Association.
• Additional certifications may be required based on population served and services provided.

Responsibilities

• Builds skills to use evidence-based practice, nursing process, critical thinking, and problem solving to provide holistic care.
• Collaborates with interprofessional team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and outcomes.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Zero (0) to twelve (12) months of professional nursing (RN) experience
• Active License as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State in which s/he will be practicing or the state of primary residency if the state is a Nurse Licensure Compact state
• BLS certification - American Heart Association
• Additional certifications may be required based on population(s) served and services provided

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
