Baystate Health in Springfield, MA is recruiting a Part-time Nurse Resident for its Nurse Residency Program, designed to ease the transition from student to professional RN through unit orientation, mentorship, and hands-on patient care.

The Nurse Resident will deliver care under supervision, develop the care plan, document assessments, and participate in ongoing education and competency activities to meet quality standards and Baystate Health policy.

Qualificações

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited program within one year of hire.
• Diploma in Nursing required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts.
• Graduated with a Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited nursing program within one year of hire date.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients per Baystate Health standards of care.
• Participate in unit orientation and ongoing education.
• Develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document assessments and care plans accurately.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to coordinate care.
• Attend monthly seminars and participate in professional development.
• Participates in unit/hospital orientation and competency-based education.
• Meets clinical practice/safety and quality standards.
• Attends monthly seminars and adheres to policies.
• Completes required assessment tools and surveys.
• Completes evidence-based practice projects and professional portfolio.
• Completes Cardiac Dysrhythmia and advanced rescue course.
• Participates in interprofessional rounds to support patient care.
• Demonstrates progress in personal and professional goals.
