Responsibilities include comprehensive bedside care, collaborative planning with the interdisciplinary team, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Nursing school graduate.

Responsibilities

• Administers bedside patient care in a hospital or inpatient/observation setting under supervision.
• Assesses patients’ needs and develops plans of care based on their needs and responses.
• Respects diversity by building respectful relationships with all team members and customers.
• Functions as an advocate for patients and their families.
• Demonstrates knowledge to provide care appropriate to patient age on the unit/department.
• Coordinates patient care for a defined group and delegates tasks to team members.
• Documents patient care meeting required standards; includes assessments, education, meds, treatments and safety.
