UnityPoint Health in Iowa is seeking a Nurse Residency Program Manager to direct and coordinate the hospital's Nurse Residency program. Based in the hospital, you will oversee education delivery and integrate residency activities with recruitment and retention strategies.

The role requires MSN in nursing, active Iowa RN licensure, 5+ years of medical-surgical, ICU or specialty nursing in acute care, and teaching experience in both academic and informal settings.

Qualifications

• MSN in nursing from nationally accredited program.
• Current RN licensure in Iowa.
• Five or more years of medical-surgical, ICU or specialty nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience teaching in both academic and informal settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for hospital nurse Residency Program, supervising scheduling and program communications.
• Ensure the RN Residency learning needs are met.
• Oversee the orientation and training of individuals who operationalize components of the Residency Program.
• Provide directions and guidance for assessment, implementation and evaluation of Nurse Residency Seminar and Clinical Orientation Track curriculums.
• Secure necessary fiscal, material, and personnel resources to support the program.
