Responsibilities

• Administers bedside patient care in a hospital or inpatient/observation setting under supervision of a preceptor, leader, and/or charge nurse.
• Develops and revises individualized plans of care based on patient needs; evaluates progress toward outcomes.
• Collaborates with medical staff and the interprofessional team to plan and manage patient care.
• Documents patient care in accordance with regulatory standards and unit policies.
• Demonstrates professional development and participates in nurse residency as appropriate.
