Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking new graduate nurses to join its 12-month Nurse Residency program designed to transition students to professional practice through education, mentorship, and peer support.

The program offers precepted orientation, blended learning, and exposure across Acute Care, Critical Care, Emergency Dept, Women’s Services, Cardiovascular/Progressive Care, Surgical Services, Transplant, and more, with leadership support and extensive wellness benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New graduates eligible.
• Current RN license in Georgia (BLS okay).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from birth through the lifecycle using nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities with assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
• Demonstrate leadership, communication, and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
