Job Summary

Summary Responsible for leading and conducting research projects to advance nursing knowledge, improve patient care outcomes, and contribute to evidence-based practices. This role involves designing and implementing research studies, collecting and analyzing data, and disseminating findings through publications and presentations.

Essential Functions

• Lead and manage nursing research projects from conceptualization to completion.
• Develop research protocols, design data collection methods, and create project timelines.
• Conduct comprehensive literature reviews to inform research design and identify gaps in nursing knowledge.
• Implement data collection methods, including surveys, interviews, observations, or clinical data extraction.
• Analyze research data using statistical methods and software.
• Interpret results, draw conclusions, and make recommendations based on research findings.
• Prepare and submit research findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
• Ensure research projects comply with ethical standards and institutional review board (IRB) requirements.
