Job summary

Merakey in York, PA is seeking a PRN Nurse for the Adult Behavioral Health program. Under the guidance of the Program Director, you will provide compassionate, person-centered care in an Extended Acute Care setting, helping adults with serious mental illness maintain health and dignity.

This on-site role offers weekend shifts with some 1st shift opportunities, and pay for LPNs and RNs with hourly rates plus shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania RN or LPN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active driver's license required.
• Must be willing to work with adults diagnosed with chronic mental health disorders.
• Experience working with the adult mental health population preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and therapeutic treatment orders.
• Train residents in self-administration of medications.
• Monitor and document weight, respiration and blood pressure.
• Participate in leading and co-leading therapeutic groups.
• Thoroughly document in all medical records and complete client progress notes.
• Provide nursing coordination of care with psychiatrists and community health care providers.

Schedule: 2nd and 3rd shift hours, primarily on weekends, plus opportunities for 1st shift per program need. Must work every otherholiday and commit to at least 2 shifts per pay period (4 per month).

Earn$30.16/hr as an LPN or $40.67/hr as an RN, plus shift differentials

Position Details

Under the guidance of the Program Director, our nurses play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of individuals with serious mental illness (SMI) within theExtended Acute Care (EAC) setting. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing compassionate, person-centered care in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
