Job summary

HealthYes Staffing Network in the Greater Atlanta area seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join an established outpatient women’s health practice. The role spans preventive care, contraception, prenatal and postpartum services with clinical independence and physician collaboration for complex cases.

The NP will perform exams, order tests, manage contraception, and provide patient-centered care with in-office procedures and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in nursing and board certification as an NP.
• Active, unrestricted Georgia RN and APRN licenses with prescriptive authority.
• Minimum five years of clinical or medical experience in women’s health preferred.
• Experience with OB/GYN procedures and prenatal/postpartum care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new-patient consultations and comprehensive histories.
• Perform annual well-woman examinations and preventive screenings.
• Order and interpret Pap, HPV, STI tests, and lab results.
• Develop evidence-based treatment and follow-up plans.
• Provide pregnancy confirmation and early-pregnancy management.
• Deliver prenatal education and lactation support.
• Coordinate referrals to maternal-fetal medicine and other specialists.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and timely chart closure.

HealthYes Staffing Network is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for an established outpatient women’s health practice in the Greater Atlanta area.

This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive OB/GYN care across the lifespan, from preventive well-woman services and contraception counseling to prenatal, postpartum, and menopause care. You will practice with a high degree of clinical independence while collaborating with experienced physicians on complex cases.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new-patient consultations, comprehensive histories, and problem-focused visits
• Perform annual well-woman examinations and preventive screenings
• Obtain and interpret Pap, HPV, STI, and other laboratory results
• Order and interpret laboratory testing, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic studies
• Develop evidence-based treatment and follow-up plans
• Diagnose and manage common women’s health concerns, including:
  • Abnormal uterine bleeding
  • PCOS and endometriosis
  • Pelvic pain
  • UTIs and vaginitis
  • Contraceptive needs
  • Menopause symptoms
  • Prenatal and postpartum concerns
• Provide pregnancy confirmation and early-pregnancy management
• Deliver prenatal education, postpartum care, and lactation support
• Counsel patients regarding contraception, preventive health, and shared medical decisions
• Coordinate referrals to maternal-fetal medicine, radiology, pelvic-floor therapy, behavioral health, and other specialties
• Maintain complete and accurate EHR documentation and close charts within 24 hours
• Support clinical quality measures, including screening intervals, prenatal testing, immunizations, and depression screening
• Participate in team huddles, case reviews, and practice-improvement initiatives

Office Procedures

Depending on experience and training, responsibilities may include:

• IUD insertion and removal
• Nexplanon insertion and removal
• Endometrial biopsy
• Colposcopy
• Simple wound care and suture removal

Training may be available for qualified candidates who need additional procedural experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing
• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner
• Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner certification strongly preferred
• Active, unrestricted Georgia RN and APRN license
• Current prescriptive authority and active DEA registration
• At least five years of clinical or medical experience
• Women’s health, gynecology, prenatal, or postpartum experience strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification
• NRP certification preferred for candidates providing obstetric care
• Experience with IUD and contraceptive implant services, or willingness to train
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient-education skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records; Epic experience is preferred
