Job summary
NutriHealth Weightloss Clinics in Lewes, DE seeks a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to lead obesity treatment through nutrition planning, pharmacotherapy, and behavioral support in a collaborative team.
The role involves coordinating with dietitians, designing personalized plans, and monitoring patient progress in a private outpatient setting. On-site schedule includes M/W/Th 8:00–16:30, Tue 8:00–18:00, Fri 8:00–14:30.
Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner license.
- Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Current DEA License.
- Experience in weight management, obesity treatment, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Nutrition Planning: Collaborate with dietitians to create comprehensive nutrition plans tailored to individual patient needs and goals.
- Fitness Integration: Incorporate fitness and exercise recommendations into patient treatment plans and monitor progress.
- Behavior Therapy: Implement behavior therapy techniques to address emotional and behavioral factors contributing to obesity.
- Pharmacotherapy: Prescribe medications as part of a comprehensive treatment plan and monitor responses.
