NutriHealth Weightloss Clinics in Lewes, DE is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our private practice focused on science-based obesity treatment. This role integrates nutrition planning, fitness guidance, behavior therapy, and pharmacotherapy to support patients achieving and maintaining a healthy weight.

You will collaborate with dietitians, provide ongoing patient education, prescribe medications as part of a comprehensive treatment plan, and work a schedule of Monday, Wednesday,

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner license and board certification.
• DEA license holder.
• Experience in weight management or obesity treatment preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary team.
• Based in Lewes, DE with ability to schedule as listed.

Responsibilities

• Provide weight management assessment and pharmacotherapy as part of treatment plan.
• Collaborate with dietitians and healthcare team to develop integrated treatment plans.

NutriHealth Weightloss Clinics is a leading outpatient private practice specializing in science based weight management solutions. We are dedicated to transforming lives through comprehensive and personalized approaches to obesity treatment, integrating nutrition planning, fitness, behavior therapy, and pharmacotherapy. Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join us in our mission to help individuals achieve and maintain a healthy weight. This position will be based in our Lewes, DE office.

Responsibilities in four key areas:

Nutrition Planning:

• Collaborate with dietitians to create comprehensive nutrition plans tailored to individual patient needs and goals.
• Provide ongoing support and education on healthy eating habits.

Fitness Integration:

• Incorporate fitness and exercise recommendations into patient treatment plans.
• Work closely with patients to set realistic fitness goals and monitor progress.

Behavior Therapy:

• Implement behavior therapy techniques to address emotional and behavioral factors contributing to obesity.
• Provide support to help patients overcome challenges in their weight loss journey.

Pharmacotherapy:

Prescribe medications as part of a comprehensive treatment plan, monitoring patient responses and adjusting medications as needed.

Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8am - 4:30pm

Tuesday: 8am - 6pm

Friday: 8am - 2:30pm

Qualifications:

• Current Nurse Practitioner license
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Current DEA License
• Experience in weight management, obesity treatment, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
