Job summary

Matrix Providers Inc. is hiring a Nurse Practitioner to conduct one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams in Yuma, AZ. The position is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00am–4:00pm, and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

The NP must hold an active NP license and BLS, be able to work independently and in a team, and have basic computer skills. VA exam experience is a plus, and all staff must be vaccinated per CDC/state guidelines.

Qualifications

• Active NP license required.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Vaccination per CDC guidelines for on-site staff.
• VA compensation exam experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review medical history and provide one-time, non-treatment VA exams.
• Capture responses using web-based forms; submit to VA electronically.
• Conduct standard exams including musculoskeletal, cardio, and respiratory.
• Order and perform ancillaries (X-ray, labs, EKGs, PFTs, ABIs) on-site or nearby.
