Job summary

Clay Consulting, LLC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations, Physical Health Assessments (PHAs), and related claimant evaluations in a clinic setting.

You will review medical and service records, conduct focused histories and examinations, and prepare evaluative reports in line with VHA, VBA, DMA and client guidelines to ensure quality and timely disability determinations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and RN/NP licenses.
• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• One or more years of nursing or clinical examination experience preferred.
• C&P exam experience and healthcare documentation systems experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, examination, and diagnostic interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P, PHA, DOI examinations and related claimant evaluations.
• Review medical and service records and supportive documentation.
• Complete timely, accurate evaluative reports per regulations and client requirements.
• Perform diagnostic testing (PFTs, EKGs, ABI) as appropriate.
• Collaborate with Medical Assistants and staff to maintain clinic operations.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance throughout examinations.
