Job summary

Tucson Medical Center in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the TMCOne-Urology team in an outpatient setting.

You will evaluate and manage adult patients with common urologic conditions, perform in-office procedures, and coordinate care with urologists and RNs in a collaborative, team-based environment. No weekend duties; standard hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Arizona license as PA or NP
• Experience or training in Urology preferred
• Comfort with office-based procedures or willingness to train
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and clinical skills
• Team-based care with urologists, RNs, and MAs

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage adult patients with common urologic concerns in an outpatient setting
• Perform minor in-office procedures (catheters, uroflowmetry, bladder scanning)
• Coordinate follow-ups, education, and care with supervising urologists
• Review labs and imaging; participate in team communication
• Option to assist in OR/hospital settings for interested candidates
• No call coverage or weekend responsibilities

TMCOne is seeking a motivated and patient-centered Physician Assistantor Nurse Practitionerto join our expanding urology team. This full-time, outpatient position involves managing a broad spectrum of urologic conditions in collaboration with board-certified urologists. The provider will deliver compassionate, evidence-based care and education to adult patients with a wide range of urologic conditions in a team-based environment. The ideal candidate will have experience or advanced training in Urology, however highly motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage adult patients with common urologic concerns, including:
  • Urolithiasis (Kidney and bladder stones)
  • Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
  • Urologic Oncology (Prostate, Kidney, Bladder Cancer)
  • Erectile dysfunction (ED)
  • Urinary incontinence
• Perform minor office procedures, including:
  • Catheter placements and exchanges (Foley, suprapubic, intermittent)
  • Uroflowmetry and bladder scanning
  • Post-void residual assessments
• Conduct follow-ups, patient education, and care coordination
• Review labs, imaging, and patient messages; collaborate closely with supervising urologists
• Optional opportunity to assist in the operating room and/or hospital setting for interested candidates
• No call coverage or weekend responsibilities
