Job summary

IMP Locum Tenens, LLC is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner specializing in trauma care. The NP responds to traumas, acts as first responder when the trauma surgeon is in the OR, and initiates ED response.

Duties include admitting patients to ICU, assisting surgically, and coordinating post-discharge clinics two days a week. Shifts are 3-4 days weekly, with opportunities for contract extensions and travel/stipend options for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Requires Nurse Practitioner licensure and trauma care experience.
• Part-time contract position in trauma care settings.
• Ability to respond to traumas and act as first responder when surgeon is in OR.
• Experience admitting patients to service lines including ICU and running post-discharge clinics.

About the Opportunity:

This is a part-time contract position for a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Trauma care. The Nurse Practitioner responds to traumas, acts as the first responder if the trauma surgeon is in the OR, and initiates response in the ED. Duties include admitting patients to the service line including ICU, assisting surgically, and preparing for and running post-discharge clinics two days a week. The position involves working both in inpatient and outpatient settings, with shifts scheduled for 3-4 days weekly.

The estimated base pay for these positions is $104.50 to $123.50 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
