Job summary

BioTalent in San Antonio is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to serve as a Sub-Investigator at our clinical research site. You will work with the Principal Investigator and team to oversee medical care of trial participants and ensure studies are conducted safely, accurately, and in compliance with protocols and regulatory requirements. This role supports Phase I–IV studies and collaboration on innovative therapies and professional growth within a collaborative research environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP in Texas and valid TX license.
• Previous Sub-Investigator experience on industry-sponsored trials preferred.
• Clinical research experience required or preferred.
• Solid knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, FDA regulations, and trial protocols.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel overnight as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight as Sub-Investigator for study participants.
• Conduct medical assessments, visits, and procedures per protocol.
• Evaluate eligibility based on protocol criteria.
• Monitor participant safety and report adverse events.
• Ensure informed consent is properly obtained.
• Maintain study documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with PI, coordinators, sponsors, monitors, and team.
• Review documentation for data accuracy and consistency.
• Support compliance with GCP, ICH, FDA requirements, and study protocols.
• Participate in sponsor meetings, monitoring visits, audits, and investigator meetings.
• Assist with study feasibility and provide clinical input for new trials.
• Support patient recruitment and retention efforts.
• Oversee handling of investigational products as applicable.
• Maintain current credentials and regulatory documentation.
