Job summary

Lifekind Health in Victorville, CA is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our UTC-based care team. You will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary group to deliver integrated treatment plans.

Ideal candidates hold CA NP license, board-certified, and have experience in pain management or a strong interest in developing expertise in multimodal therapy. This role offers a salary range of $155,000–$165,000 annually plus relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in California.
• Current Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain DEA registration.
• At least 1 year of NP experience preferred.
• Experience in pain management or interest in developing expertise in this area preferred.
• Comfort in managing chronic pain with a multimodal, evidence-based approach.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage chronic pain conditions within comprehensive care plans.
• Collaborate with pain management specialists and providers to develop multimodal strategies.
• Perform interventional pain procedures as trained and credentialed.
• Educate patients on safe pain management and opioid stewardship.
• Monitor treatment efficacy and adjust care plans for function and quality of life.
• Deliver holistic care in a transdisciplinary team within our care model.
• Document patient encounters and sign charts within 72 hours.

Schedule : 4/10's, Clinics are open 7 days a week, 8:00 am - 7:00 pm . Availability to work Saturday and/or Sunday may be required.

About the position:

• Evaluate and manage chronic pain conditions as part of comprehensive care plans, integrating pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies
• Collaborate with pain management specialists and complementary providers (chiropractors, acupuncturists) to develop individualized multimodal pain treatment strategies
• Perform interventional pain procedures as trained and credentialed, including joint injections, trigger point injections, and other minimally invasive therapies
• Educate patients on safe pain management practices including opioid stewardship, alternative therapies, and self-management techniques
• Monitor treatment efficacy and adjust care plans to optimize function, quality of life, and long-term health outcomes
• Deliver care using a holistic, interdisciplinary approach in collaboration with medical doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, behavioral health providers, dietitians, and other health partners within our patented care model
• Participate in a multidisciplinary team to develop, execute, monitor, and adjust comprehensive and coordinated care plans that include shared goals with measurable outcomes
• Assess and document patient health through interviews, examinations, observations, and review of medical histories
• Diagnose health conditions, order and interpret lab work and diagnostic studies following established protocols
• Document all patient encounters and sign medical charts within72 hours as per industry standards and guidelines
• Develop treatment plan as part of patient’s overall care plan that addresses dysfunction and disease while minimizing risk of further injury
• Prescribe and dispense medication when granted authority in accordance with State licensure and staff privileges
• Employ evidence-based approaches to shared decision-making that respect the patient’s preferences and social norms while targeting optimal treatment outcomes

Our Ideal Candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of California
• Current Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner required
• Current DEA registration or eligibility/ability to obtain DEA registration
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience as NP preferred but not required
• Experience in pain management or interest in developing expertise in this area preferred
• Comfort in managing patients with chronic pain using a multimodal, evidence-based approach
