Job summary

Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Rheumatology team at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital and St. Francis Hospital in Chicago and Evanston. This is a full-time, dayshift role offering autonomous practice with physician support in a modern, collaborative environment.

The position requires Illinois NP licensure, FNP certification, and 1–2 years of NP experience in Rheumatology or internal medicine. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

Current and valid Illinois NP license.
Board certification as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
Minimum of 1–2 years NP experience, preferably in Rheumatology or internal medicine.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive new patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
Perform joint aspirations/injections, interpret imaging, and order lab monitoring.
Initiate and titrate DMARDs, biologics, and small-molecule therapies.
Educate patients on disease management and infusion protocols.
Collaborate with referring PCPs, orthopedists, and pain management specialists.
