Prime Healthcare Illinois Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Rheumatology team at St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital and St. Francis Hospital in Chicago and Evanston. This is a full-time, dayshift role offering autonomous practice with physician support in a modern, collaborative environment.

The position requires Illinois NP licensure, FNP certification, and 1–2 years of NP experience in Rheumatology or internal medicine. A comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Illinois NP license.
• Board certification as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
• Minimum of 1–2 years NP experience, preferably in Rheumatology or internal medicine.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive new patient evaluations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Perform joint aspirations/injections, interpret imaging, and order lab monitoring.
• Initiate and titrate DMARDs, biologics, and small-molecule therapies.
• Educate patients on disease management and infusion protocols.
• Collaborate with referring PCPs, orthopedists, and pain management specialists.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $120,000-$130,000 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
