Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner for the Surgical Specialty - Non-Operative track. The role renders direct patient care under physician supervision, with independent prescriptive authority and participation in care planning.

You will perform exams, order tests, develop treatment plans, counsel patients and families, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in outpatient settings with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Program
• Less than 1 year of experience
• Texas RN license or Texas APRN license

Responsibilities

• Assess physical and mental condition and obtain histories
• Order, collect, and interpret labs and tests
• Prescribe or recommend therapies within scope
• Develop and adjust comprehensive treatment plans
• Counsel patients and families on care and meds
• Maintain and review patient treatment records
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams
