Qualifications

Job description

About the Opportunity: This contract position for a Nurse Practitioner focuses on providing imaging and radiology services to patients within a hospital setting. Responsibilities include performing and interpreting fluoroscopic studies, such as esophagrams, upper GI series, and modified barium swallow studies, with some procedures done in collaboration with speech pathology. The role covers both inpatient and outpatient settings, running Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

The estimated base pay for these positions are $85.17 to $100.65 per hour. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct specific assessments and create care plans.
  • Provide esophagram, upper GI series, upper GI small bowel follow-through, and modified barium swallow studies collaboratively.
  • Collaborate with speech pathologists during modified barium swallow exams.
  • Operate fluoroscopy equipment with technical support.
  • Provide final interpretations and sign reports, with oversight by supervising radiologists.
  • Adhere to hospital protocols in documentation and reporting.
