About the opportunity
The Nurse Practitioner will provide patient care, consultation, evaluation, andeducation to patients of the assigned clinic.
What you will do
- Follows standards of care as outlined by Vail Health and Colorado NursePractice Act.
- Supports the coordination of the daily patient flow to optimize patient care,safety, and satisfaction.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient, staff, and hospital administration.
- Provides care within scope of practice as established by the privilegesgranted through the Vail Health Medical Staff Office.
- Competency in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to assure high standardsof patient care, patient satisfaction, and safety are maintained asdocumented by supervising physician's review.
- Provides patient education relating to current medical issues and to promotehealthy lifestyle choices.
- Displays and promotes professional, courteous, and collaborative interactionwith patients/families, providers, staff, other Vail Health departments, andleadership in meeting patient care needs and promoting teamwork.
- Demonstrates ability to delegate care appropriately and according to Coloradostatute.
- Ensures that patient documentation is in accordance with accreditation andregulatory compliance standards.
- Demonstrates competency in triage, diagnosis, and treatment to assure highstandards of patient care and safety are maintained.

Pay is based upon relevant education and experience per year.
Yearly Pay:$115,668.80—$140,920 USD
