Job Description

Wellness Solutions Geriatrics has an exciting opportunity for aPsychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Nurse Practitionerof another specialtywith psych experiencewith interest to provide psychiatric services in the Glasgow, KY area. Ideal candidate would be a PMHNP or NP with psych experience. You will be working in close collaboration with the interprofessional team at our LTC facilities providing on-site care. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP)Responsibilities

• Psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment recommendations
• Cognitive and executive function testing
• Documentation of treatment goals and response to treatment
• Document appropriate diagnosis for psychotropic medication use.
• Assess and reduce polypharmacy issues
• Obtain informed consent on all psychotropic medications prescribed

Our provider compensation system is incentive based and rewards providers who practice as guided by CMS. Compensation rate is based on location of services provided and level of experience. Employees are paid during training, which can range from 3-6 weeks depending on employee experience.
