Job summary

Townsend Recovery Detox and Drug Rehab Center is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner to develop individual medical care plans and provide ongoing medical monitoring within a residential treatment setting.

The role emphasizes coordinating with medical and clinical teams, updating orders, and ensuring accurate documentation to support patient recovery. A master's degree in a medical field and active licenses are required, with DEA certification preferred.

• Master's degree in medical field with related certifications.
• Valid state medical license and DEA certification.
• Strong clinical observation and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create individual medical care treatment plans and monitor/ manage medications for each client.
• Stabilize patients to enable engagement in treatment.
• Update orders, review UDS, med and lab results.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical, and UR teams for coordinated care.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all medical interventions and directives.
• Schedule daily and weekly client appointments efficiently.

Now seeking PRN Nurse Practitioner

What You'll Do

• Create individual medical care treatment plans and provide medical monitoring/ medication management for each client throughout treatment
• Provide quality medical care to stabilize patients and enable them to fully engage in treatment
• Update pharmacy orders, create UDS, med and lab orders, and review and address UDS and lab results
• Collaborate with extended medical, clinical, and UR teams for seamless coordination of care
• Maintain thorough documentation of all medical interventions, consultations, and directives
• Complete daily and weekly client appointment schedule in timely and efficient manner

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in medical field, and related certifications
• Valid state medical license
• Federal DEA certification
• Acute observational and critical thinking skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong collaborative and multitasking skills
• Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in a related clinical setting
