Job summary

Premise Health Inc. in Mt. Sterling, IL seeks a PRN Nurse Practitioner to provide care to employees and their dependents at our health center. The schedule is as-needed with clinic hours: Mon/Thu 5:30AM-7:00PM, Tue/Wed 5:30AM-5:00PM, Fri 5:30AM-3PM.

You will perform physical exams, procedures, and care plans to support ongoing wellness and collaborates with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Maintains state RN licenses/certificates to practice.
• Maintains Nurse Practitioner licenses/certificates to practice.
• Maintains State Prescriptive Authority where applicable.
• Federal DEA license as required.
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP).
• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing.
• BLS/ACLS as required by contract scope.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists as needed.
• Maintains patient health records and documentation.
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices.

As a PRN Nurse Practitioner, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Mt. Sterling, IL. The scheduled hours are as needed during the following clinic hours:

Mon & Thurs 5:30AM-7:00PM

Tues & Wed 5:30AM-5:00PM

Friday 5:30AM-3PM

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• Federal DEA license (matching each state of practice as applicable)
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state (Alabama, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Wyoming, Puerto Rico) (New York ROPES registration)
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP required)
• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing (if Master Degree in Science certificate does not state Nursing on it then a copy of transcripts is required)
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an ambulatory care, occupational health, family practice or emergency department setting

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $56.00 - $70.00 per hour. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
