The duties include speaking with patients about healthy lifestyle choices for their age, completing diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to maintain updated medical records. **Patient Care** • Initial assessment of new patients. • Follow up and monitoring of patient care. • Performs general nursing duties as appropriate according to Licenser and state guidelines. • Records and signs all pertinent information in the patient's chart. • Greets patients in the lobby and escort them to the exam room if needed. • Interviews patients and records - chief complaint, past and present patient history, social history, family history, medication histories, measures, and records vital signs.
