Qualifications

• APN licensure or ability to successfully obtain licensure within three months of date of hire.
• MSN with Nurse Practitioner certification/licensure in MO/IL as applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• No specific work experience required; strong clinical foundation encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including history, assessment, and physical exams; order and interpret diagnostic tests; develop care plans with physicians and care teams.
• Manage health conditions with prescriptive authority within scope and state regulations.
• Bill for services under collaborative practice agreement as applicable.
• Counsel patients and families on preventative care and care options.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with reporting and safety standards.
• Support clinical research and patient education activities.
