HealthDrive is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for full-time, on-site care in Great Falls, Montana. The APRN will manage medical needs of skilled nursing residents across sub-acute rehab and long-term care units, diagnosing, treating, and guiding care with the medical staff.

The role includes a 3-week paid training with a mentor APRN, collaborative practice, and no nights, weekends, or on-call. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or related field and NP licensure.
• Board certification as NP; state license to practice as an APRN.
• Ability to prescribe medications and manage post-acute care patients.
• Strong communication with staff, patients, and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary, post-acute, and preventative care for residents in sub-acute rehab and long-term care units.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging as needed.
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses and propose treatments.
• Prescribe medications and monitor therapy effects.
• Maintain accurate health records and schedules.
• Educate patients about conditions and medications.
• Oversee overall health of residents and coordinate care with staff.
