Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a specialty walk-in clinic in Florence, OR. The clinician will work in a supportive, physician-led environment with access to diabetes educators, care coordinators, and other specialties.

A 4- or 5-day work week is available, with a focus on urgent care and community health. Qualifications include NP/PA licensure in Oregon, national certification, and DEA registration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• National certification as an NP or PA
• Ability to obtain an Oregon NP or PA license
• Current DEA certification or ability to obtain
• Experience in Urgent Care, Walk-In Clinic, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or a related setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality urgent care in a walk-in clinic setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain patient safety and up-to-date clinical documentation.

Nurse Practitioner Specialty - Walk In Clinic | Florence, OR - Key Perks

• Medical Assistant is assigned to each clinician.
• Daily case load is approximately 15-18 patients per day.
• Additional support from our Diabetes Educator, RN Care Coordinators, Wound Care, Dermatology, Behavioral Health, Palliative Care and Women’s Health. 4-day or 5-day work week.
