Job summary

The role includes diagnosing, educating patients, and coordinating with the care team to ensure quality outcomes. Minimum licensure as an RN in South Carolina with NP certification is required, along with adherence to clinical protocols and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Maintains current licensure as RN in the State of South Carolina; obtains and maintains Nurse Practitioner certification as recognized.
• Experience with clinical assessment and treatment of acute illnesses.
• Ability to document thoroughly and maintain patient charts accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients through interviews, health history, physical exams and diagnostics.
• Provide diagnosis and treatment within protocols; plan follow-up and referrals as needed.
• Deliver health education and preventive care advice to patients and families.
• Maintain patient records and documentation; support continuity of care.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure safe, effective care.
