Medical Director Services PC is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to serve a skilled nursing facility on the Upper West Side of New York City. The role offers a generous sign-on bonus and welcomes new grads with compensation commensurate with experience.

The NP will provide primary care, collaborate with the medical team and nursing home staff, educate residents and families, and ensure compliant, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serves as primary care provider for long and short term residents.
• Collaborates with medical attending/physician and nursing home staff.
• Educates residents and families and develops evidence-based care plans.
• Keeps compliant with federal, state, and local regulations and advises management on needed actions.
• Maintains professional knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing literature.
• Ensures a safe, clean work environment and respects cultural beliefs and values.
• Reviews charting, documentation, and administration of care to ensure timeliness.
