Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
Licensed or eligible for NP licensure in New Mexico.
New graduate Nurse Practitioners are welcome to apply.
BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan.
Conduct patient assessments, physical examinations, and preventative health screenings.
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests and results.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Prescribe medications following NM regulations.
Educate patients and families about health conditions and care plans.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in the EHR.
Collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure continuity of care.
Participate in quality improvement and community health programs.
