Job summary

MedNOW Clinics is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality outpatient care in a collaborative setting in Colorado Springs. The role emphasizes clinical autonomy, teamwork with physicians, and accurate documentation to ensure continuity of care.

You will evaluate patients, develop evidence-based plans, order tests, and educate patients while adhering to safety and privacy standards. This position requires onsite work with a focus on value-based care and patient access.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral NP degree required.
• Current national board certification.
• Colorado RN license with APN registration required.
• Colorado prescriptive authority or pathway toward it.
• Current NPI and payer credentialing.
• DEA registration where required.
• BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients at initial and follow-up visits.
• Obtain histories, exam patients, develop differential diagnoses, and plan treatment.
• Order, review, and follow up on lab work and imaging.
• Prescribe medications within license and privileges.
• Provide patient education and shared decision-making.
• Maintain accurate documentation, coding, and medical records.
• Review messages, lab results, referrals, and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and clinic teams.
• Ensure timely escalation for urgent cases.
• Support preventive care and quality measures.
