Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Ability to provide comprehensive physical assessments and establish diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Perform traditional outpatient duties in a physician-APP friendly environment.
• Monday through Friday work schedule with no weekends or major holidays; balanced call rotation.

Job Description

UM Upper Chesapeake Health (UMUCH), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), has a full-time employed position available for a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join their practice located in Forest Hill, MD.

• This position will be responsible for coordinating and providing medical care, health screening, and education to Harford Primary Care's adult patients.

Work Experience Education & Training:

Current Maryland Nurse Practitioner license as an adult, geriatric, or family nurse practitioner.

Work Orientation & Experience:

Satisfactory completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, Practitioner-physician written agreement approved by the Maryland Board of Nursing.

Skills & Abilities:

Competent in providing comprehensive physical assessments and establishing medical diagnosis for common short-term or chronic stable health problems. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills.
