Job summary

BJC Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to support Post-Acute Care across O'Fallon, St. Peters, Chesterfield, Lake St. Louis and Maryland Heights. The position is Monday–Friday with day shifts and no weekend requirements.

The role will involve managing acute and chronic illnesses, performing assessments, developing treatment plans, and coordinating care within a physician-led collaborative practice. This is a safety-sensitive role with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• Nurse Practitioner certification/licensure required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as NP or in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Manages care for patients with acute and chronic illnesses in hospital, clinic and post-acute settings.
• Formats and implements treatment plans and orders under physician supervision.
• Performs assessments and interprets diagnostic studies as part of a collaborative practice.
• Provides hospital rounding and on-call coverage as needed.
• Maintains knowledge of hospital protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in professional development and continuous learning.
