Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a quality-driven nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our post-acute care team in Hilton Head, South Carolina. This is a part-time opportunity (2 days/week) rounding in skilled nursing facilities, with excellent support and training, autonomy, and earning potential.

The role involves comprehensive assessments, care planning, and coordination with physicians and staff to improve patient outcomes. New grads are welcome; SC licensure and DEA are required.

Qualifications

• NP or PA license in South Carolina (SC) and DEA registration required
• New grads welcome to apply; post-acute/acute/ED/clinic experience preferred but not required
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans
• Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes

• Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with regulations

Job description

TeamHealth is seeking a quality-driven nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our post-acute care team in Hilton Head, South Carolina. This is a part-time opportunity (2 days/week) rounding in skilled nursing facilities, with excellent support and training, autonomy, and earning potential. Compensation is fee for service with an estimated compensation range of $26,808 - $32,170 annually and no cap on productivity income potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs
• Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach
• Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations

Qualifications

• NP or PA license (State of South Carolina) and DEA
• Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings preferred, but not required; new grads welcome to apply
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
