Job summary

CareSpot in Florida is seeking a qualified clinician to join our mission-driven urgent care network. You will obtain adequate history, perform physical examinations, order relevant tests, and make therapeutic decisions with patients to deliver convenient, compassionate care seven days a week.

Board certification in Emergency, Family, Internal, or Primary Care Medicine, plus outpatient clinic experience, is required.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Primary Care Medicine.
• Graduate of an approved nurse practitioner or physician assistant program with relevant clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining an adequate history and performing an appropriate physical examination for the presenting problem
• Ordering pertinent laboratory and radiographic studies as needed based on the initial evaluation
• Making appropriate therapeutic decisions in conjunction with the patient based on the information gathered
• Administering appropriate medication or treatment as necessary
• Performing minor surgical procedures

A few requirements

• Licensed to practice medicine in accordance with the state law


• Graduate of an approved nurse practitioner or physician assistant school with a minimum of one year of experience in a relevant environment


• BLS Certification


• Ability to pass a Level II background screening and clearance through AHCA Agency for Healthcare Administration (https://info.flclearinghouse.com/)
