Job summary

CareSpot in Florida is seeking a licensed physician to join our urgent care team, delivering patient-centered care seven days a week with extended hours. You will provide timely and compassionate care in a fast-paced environment, emphasizing accessibility for families across the community.

Responsibilities include taking histories, performing examinations, ordering tests, and developing treatment plans, with minor procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Primary Care Medicine.
• Experience in an outpatient medical clinic or urgent care center.
• Licensed to practice medicine in accordance with state law.
• Graduate of an approved nurse practitioner or physician assistant program with at least 1 year in a relevant environment.
• BLS Certification.
• Ability to pass Level II background screening and AHCA clearance.

Responsibilities

• Obtain history and perform physical examination for presenting problem.
• Order pertinent labs and radiographic studies as needed based on the initial evaluation.
• Make appropriate therapeutic decisions with the patient.
• Administer medications or treatments as necessary.
• Perform minor surgical procedures.

• Making appropriate therapeutic decisions in conjunction with the patient based on the information gathered


• Administering appropriate medication or treatment as necessary


• Performing minor surgical procedures

What you'll bring to the table

• Board certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and/or Primary Care Medicine


• Previous experience in an outpatient medical clinic or urgent care center

A few requirements
