Capital HealthCare PC in Washington, DC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide primary care services for adults. You will perform exams, order and review labs, diagnose common conditions, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

The role offers a structured schedule with no on-call duties, a mix of 8- and 10-hour shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, a 401k with employer match,

Qualifications

• Valid and unrestricted Medical License in DC.
• Board Certification, if applicable.
• One year minimum employment experience in a Primary Care setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly accurate and thorough primary care services to a predominantly adult patient population.
• Conduct routine physical exams, including Pap smears.
• Diagnose and treat common medical conditions using evidence-based practices.
• Counsel patients on strategies to promote general wellness.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to drive high-quality outcomes.
• Review labs and clinical documents promptly and accurately.
• Complete charting in the EMR within 72 hours.
• See approximately 2–2.2 patients per hour on average.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly accurate and thorough primary care services to a predominantly adult patient population, focusing on delivering exceptional clinical outcomes.
• Conduct routine physical exams, including Pap smears, with precision and attention to detail, ensuring all procedures are performed to the highest standards.

• Efficiently manage urgent complaints typical of a primary care clinic, using your advanced knowledge and critical thinking skills to provide swift and effective care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, contributing your technical expertise to drive high-quality, measurable outcomes.
• Review all labs and clinical documents promptly and accurately, ensuring no detail is overlooked in patient care.
• Complete charting in the electronic medical record within 72 hours, utilizing technology and systems efficiently to maintain accuracy and clarity.
• Comfortably see approximately 2-2.2 patients per hour on average, applying your technical skills to handle each case effectively, including walk-ins.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, setting an example of clinical excellence and expert communication in interactions with both patients and staff.

Working Hours

We are open:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Weekends: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
