Next Health Nashville is seeking a Full-Time Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant with a passion for health, longevity, and wellness. You will join a multidisciplinary team, lead patient-centered care, and contribute to hormone management and preventive medicine.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in primary care or related fields, a strong clinical skill set, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and APRN certification.
• Tennessee state license to practice as NP/PA.
• 3+ years of NP/PA experience in primary care or related field.
• 3+ years of Functional Medicine experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and provide primary care, including diagnosis and follow-up.
• Perform hormone replacement therapy.
• Develop treatment plans with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, healthy lifestyles and medication use.
• Document care in EMRs and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and other providers to ensure continuity of care.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests; prescribe medications as needed.

Next Health is seeking a Full-Time Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant with a strong interest in health, wellness & longevity to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an advanced provider with strong clinical and leadership skills, experience in hormone management, a passion for functional medicine, and the ability to help grow our practices while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Responsibilities

As the Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting patient assessments and providing primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
• Performing Hormone replacement therapy.
• Developing treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers
• Educating patients and their families on disease prevention and management, healthy lifestyles, and medication use
• Documenting patient care in electronic medical records (EMRs) and maintaining accurate patient records
• Collaborating with the Medical Director and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and staying up-to-date on best practices and clinical guidelines

• Propose tailored treatments based on patient history, conditions, and concerns

• Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans in conjunction with physicians and colleagues
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications as necessary
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention and management strategies
• Keep thorough and accurate patient records using electronic medical records (EMRs)
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and stay abreast of best practices and clinical guidelines

What You’ll Bring

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree and certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) / Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program and Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• A valid Tennessee state license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
• 3+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant in primary care or a related field
• 3+ years of Functional Medicine experience
• Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
• Previous experience with hormone treatments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other clinical software.

Expected Compensation

The expected compensation for this position is $120,000 + per year, plus benefits and 20% bonus potential.

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
